As a part of our B.Ed curriculum the first phase of school internship programme started on 27 September 2023. Four of us Nishida N, Sajna S, Karthika ,Monisha👭👭from English were assigned to the school, A.K.M.H.S.S Mylapore ,for the period of 40 days.

First week 27.09.2023 to 05.10.2023

       This was our first week of first phase of teaching practice. We reached the school at 9.30am and signed the register. We met our concerned teachers in the school. Sindhu miss was the English teacher. She assigned me to take classes for 8 C. The teacher was very friendly. During this week I took "The Village Blacksmith" by Henry  Wadsworth Longfellow.Before directly entering into the chapter,I create a good rapport with the students.Thus I created an idea about the chapter. I used chart to teach the profile of the author. I used flash cards for introducing new words and activity cards for giving questions related to the chapter. To make class more interesting, I show some images related to the chapter to make the students active.Students were active through out my class. I took substitution classes for 8 B class.
