WOMEN 'S DAY CELEBRATION 🎊🎉👰🧕👸❤️
celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women, who have played an
extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.8th March is internationally celebrated as the “International Women’s Day”. It is an important occasion for all of us to pause
for a moment to reflect on ourselves, to appreciate how much has been done and what more needs to be done in the field of gender equality. Moreover, it is the day to acknowledge all the men and women in the world for making this world a better place for everyone to live in.
We celebrated International women’s day on 8th March, 2023 in our college. On that day special assembly is conducted by awakening the thought of women’s day prior to celebrations. After that our beloved principal Dr. Lakshmi Natarajan was honoured and we have given a small token of love from the students side.
Each of the teachers were also honoured. After that extracurricular programs were conducted which includes Talent round, elocution, costume competition etc. and certificates were awarded for the winners.
It was a memorable day for each one of us. The purpose of organizing a Costume round on such occasion is not just to observe the day but also to create awareness amongst the students and also with the target of reaching the parents and people in the community at large through the students.
